Now on a steady course of recovery follow the civil disturbances of November 2006, Tonga is entering a new era of reform and growth. The Government is undertaking an ambitious program of pro-business reform aimed at stimulating the private sector. In preparing Business Advantage Tonga 2009/10, we have researched business conditions in Tonga and conducted many interviews with Tongan and overseas business people, and relevant Tongan Government agencies.
